Souvenirs from Riga. Never noticed the similarities between my creatures and the matryoshka-dolls up until now: both have faces stuck on blobby, limbless bodies. I love the matryoshka's rich decorations and their glossy, wooden surfaces. The idea of stacking them one inside the other is also very interesting, and would make perfect sense with my current project dealing with motherhood.

Here are some sketches for a new project, and a few rantings spelled on our fridge door last night:
I want a luscious garden.
Please worship my repulsive white drool.
Lather the man with sausage juice.
Spray beneath her boil.
The ugly goddess needs a skin pole.
I must elaborate: you will lick rust deliriously and cry.
Eat away at raw underpants but never produce delicate language.

All the works in the show are made of plastic, and the focus is on recycling. I painted doll portraits on plastic lids, and the title refers to Kristallnacht. More images will follow later.
